เจ็บ

v. 1. to be sick, hurt, be in pain;

2. to hurt, be sore, painful.

เจ็บจำ (to bear a grudge (as for something borrowed and not returned), เจ็บใจ (to be indignant, to be provoked, to be distressed in mind, to have wounded feelings, to be heart-sick), เจ็บช้ำน้ำใจ (to have one's feelings hurt), เจ็บปวด (painful, sore to the touch).

My friend is seriously in pain (seriosly ill). เท้าของคุณยังเจ็บอยู่หรือ Is your foot still painful? เขาเจ็บใจที่เธอไม่แยแสเขา He resented her indifference. ุถ้าแกไม่เชื่อฉัน แกจะเจ็บตัว If you don't obey me, you will be hurt (you will hurt yourself, I will hurt you).
